Nature Photography

The vast array of colour in nature is attraction in itself for the majority of photographers. I love looking for shape and texture too – and for some rather unusual viewing angles. Capturing the beauty of a single bloom at its best is always rewarding – and sometimes it can be quite difficult to find that particular quality. I have also taken a number of shots when plants and flowers are far from their best. As flowers go to seed, new colours, shapes and textures emerge and these are often disregarded as being unworthy of capturing. I have to disagree and perhaps you will too after viewing some of the images in this gallery.
